A specialty french filet bean with tender, 7 inch pods that develop quickly on bushy plants. Plants grow to 18-24 inches tall and do not need to be trellised.
Space seedlings about 6 inches apart. Plant in full sun in soil that is well amended with compost and a good vegetable fertilizer, and water regularly. Harvest while beans are still very slender and well before the seeds inside start to develop. Pick beans frequently to encourage extended production.
Try them simply steamed with a little butter and lemon juice or sauteed with tomatoes and garlic and sprinkled with feta or parmesan cheese, they are delicious!
